Vitafoods 2025 Stands: Our Projects for Hausmann and Lubrizol

At Vitafoods Europe 2025, the first edition of the show held in Barcelona, Factoría Creativa designed, produced and built four stands: for Hausmann Aromatic, Lubrizol Life Science, Laboratorios Virens and Sakai. This recap of our Vitafoods 2025 stands focuses on the two largest projects, Hausmann and Lubrizol, and on the decisions behind them: the brief, the concept, the materials and the build at Fira Barcelona. If you are planning a future edition, our Vitafoods Europe stand design page has the upcoming dates, and the project pages for Hausmann and Lubrizol show more photos.

What is Vitafoods Europe?

Vitafoods Europe 2025 in Barcelona, where we built four Vitafoods 2025 stands

Vitafoods Europe is the international meeting point for the nutraceutical industry. For more than two decades it was held in Geneva; in 2025 it moved to Fira Barcelona, bringing together more than 1,200 exhibitors and tens of thousands of professionals from health, nutrition and wellbeing. It covers functional ingredients, dietary supplements, digestive health, nutricosmetics and food technology.

Beyond product launches, the show drives partnerships and knowledge exchange between researchers, laboratories, manufacturers and international brands. In 2025 the big themes were sustainability, personalised nutrition, advanced ingredient delivery systems and botanical traceability. The floor is organised into areas such as the New Ingredients Pavilion, the Sustainability Zone, the Tasting Centre and the Innovation Area.

For brands like Hausmann and Lubrizol, the 2025 edition was a chance to consolidate their position, meet new customers and strengthen their brand image, and that required a strong, distinctive stand.

Hausmann Aromatic: a natural, immersive, sensory stand

Hausmann has a long track record in botanical ingredients and essential oils. At Vitafoods 2025 it wanted to express its brand values through a proposal that was sensory, natural and true to its identity. We designed and built a stand of almost 200 m², which drew attention from the first day.

The brief

Three ideas guided the project: natural origin, sensory quality and transparent communication. From the first meeting we worked with Hausmann’s team to translate them into a space that would immerse every visitor.

Design inspired by nature

The stand’s organic architecture centred on a structure resembling a tree, symbolising the direct connection with the plant world. We used sustainable materials such as FSC-certified wood, suspended greenery and natural textiles to create a warm, welcoming setting. Lighting from translucent spheres and the curved shapes of the furniture created visual harmony, while the flowing layout guided visitors naturally through the stand.

A multisensory experience

The key was a series of themed interactive zones where visitors could experience each product line through smell, sight and touch. We built in cylinders with visible ingredients, smell stations with key aromas and screens with videos explaining the traceability and benefits of each extract. A meeting area with round tables and an open information counter made direct conversations with distributors and potential customers easy.

Lubrizol Life Science: science and technology made visible

Lubrizol Life Science, a global company active in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and nutraceuticals, wanted a stand that reflected its scientific, technical and forward-looking approach. We developed a proposal based on futuristic forms, architectural lighting and technological elements.

The standout feature was a 4-metre-high light cannon, a visually striking structure that became one of the most photographed spots of the event. It gave the stand a modern aesthetic and reinforced the brand’s message of scientific precision.

A design that evokes science

The stand was organised around an open blue architectural arch leading to presentation, networking and meeting areas. A suspended backlit cylinder carrying the Lubrizol logo kept the brand visible from every angle of the hall. Curved lines, integrated LED lighting and translucent surfaces conveyed clean technology and innovation.

Technical, accessible communication

Inside, digital screens and educational materials explained how the company’s functional ingredients work, especially its modified-release and enhanced-absorption solutions. QR codes, catalogues on tablets and content in several languages made the information accessible to an international audience. Light colours, translucent surfaces and backlit elements created an environment that felt clean, innovative and professional.

How we built our four Vitafoods 2025 stands at the same show

Delivering four stands at one fair is mostly a matter of planning. All four were produced in our 2,000 m² workshop in Barcelona, pre-assembled and checked there, then transported to Fira Barcelona Gran Via and installed by our own crew within the organiser’s build-up window. Having the workshop close to the venue made it easy to schedule deliveries and respond quickly to last-minute adjustments. After the show, our team handled dismantling and stored reusable elements.

For an international exhibitor, that model means one English-speaking project manager, one itemised quote covering design, production, transport and installation, and no need to coordinate several local suppliers. You can read more about it on our stand build-up in Barcelona page.

What the 2025 stands achieved

With distinctive stands designed by Factoría Creativa, the four companies were able to:

  • Increase brand visibility in front of thousands of specialised international visitors.
  • Communicate their values clearly, from innovation to sustainability and quality, through coherent, attractive spaces.
  • Strengthen key business relationships with distributors, laboratories and manufacturers.
  • Differentiate themselves from competitors with a memorable presence.

Vitafoods 2025 confirmed the show as an essential event for the nutraceutical industry, and these projects show how strategic design can drive impact and connection. The relationship continued: see the Lubrizol stand at Vitafoods 2026 and the Hausmann Aromatic stand for 2026, and our practical Vitafoods Europe stand tips.

Lessons for future Vitafoods exhibitors

  • Turn the ingredient into an experience. Visible ingredients, scent and light make an abstract product memorable.
  • Choose one hero element. A tree or a light cannon gives visitors, and photographers, a focal point.
  • Plan suspended and tall elements early. Rigging and height must comply with venue rules and be approved with your plans.
  • Combine openness with meeting space. Ingredient deals need tables and quiet corners as much as an attractive front; a trade show booth that is all display and no seating loses the conversations that matter.
  • Start early. Ideally brief your stand builder 3–4 months before the show.
