Practical information for Construmat exhibitors
Construmat is held at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via venue. It brings together building materials, off-site construction, building services and architecture firms, many of which bring large-format samples.
Build-up is concentrated in the days before opening and dismantling starts as soon as the show closes, with working hours and loading slots set out by the organiser in the exhibitor manual. If you exhibit building systems or prefabricated elements, part of the stand is your own product, so we agree with you what is pre-built in our workshop and what is put together in the hall.
Venue regulations worth bearing in mind:
- Stand approval: the organiser asks for stand plans and elevations by a set deadline; we prepare and submit them for you.
- Electricity: the power supply is ordered from the organiser; we size it to your screens, lighting and equipment.
- Double-deck stands: they need signed structural calculations and specific approval from the organiser.
- Heavy samples: construction elements need load calculations and, if they have to be lifted, machinery approved by the venue.
Ideally, book your stand builder 3–4 months before Construmat, whether you need a compact trade show booth or a large island stand: that leaves time for 3D design, plan approval, production and ordering technical services. We build in our Barcelona workshop and take the stand to the venue by truck, with our own installation and dismantling crew.
