MATELEC is held at IFEMA Madrid, next to Barajas airport. The venue has more than a dozen interconnected halls, with access through the North and South entrances.
Build-up is concentrated in the days before opening and dismantling starts as soon as the show closes, with working hours and loading slots set out by the organiser in the exhibitor manual. Because it is a lighting and electrical show, most exhibitors want their products switched on, which means more contracted power and more testing time before opening.
Venue regulations worth bearing in mind:
Ideally, book your stand builder 3–4 months before MATELEC, whether you need a compact trade show booth or a large island stand: that leaves time for 3D design, plan approval, production and ordering technical services. We build in our Barcelona workshop and truck the stand to Madrid, a one-day drive; our own crew travels to install it. You deal with one English-speaking project manager from design to breakdown. See our exhibition stands in Madrid page and our exhibition stand planning checklist.
We don’t yet have a published project at MATELEC, but we have built stands for companies with very similar needs:

MATELEC Madrid is one of Spain’s leading professional events for the electrical, lighting and smart building solutions sectors. Held at IFEMA Madrid, it brings together manufacturers, distributors, installers, engineering firms, architects and specialised companies seeking innovation, energy efficiency and new technologies for the industry. With a high concentration of qualified professionals, your stand becomes a key tool for presenting solutions, generating contacts and increasing your brand visibility.
At Factoría Creativa, we design and build custom stands for MATELEC Madrid. We understand IFEMA Madrid’s regulations, assembly schedules and venue logistics, and use this knowledge to create a clear objective: a space that conveys innovation, professionalism and trust, attracts the right visitors and turns your participation into genuine business opportunities.

Visitors to MATELEC Madrid are specialised professionals, and this influences every aspect of the design. We create spaces that convey innovation, reliability and trust, including technical demonstration areas, spaces for presenting electrical solutions, product displays, consultation areas and private meeting rooms.
We develop the concept, 3D design and overall environment for your brand, whether you are a manufacturer of electrical equipment, a lighting company, an automation specialist, an energy-efficiency provider or a smart building solutions company, creating a professional and distinctive image in a highly competitive setting.
Our team has extensive experience in designing and building stands at IFEMA Madrid, the venue where MATELEC Madrid is held and one of Europe’s leading exhibition centres. We understand the technical procedures, regulations and assembly schedules required to deliver each project efficiently.
In addition to building the stand, we coordinate logistics, transport, technical installations, lighting and full supervision of the assembly process, allowing exhibitors to focus exclusively on presenting their solutions and creating new business opportunities.

At MATELEC Madrid, companies present technical solutions, innovations and key products to installers, distributors, engineering firms and professionals from the electrical sector. We therefore design the space to facilitate meetings, manage visitor flow and highlight the most relevant solutions.
Our stands include demonstration areas, meeting spaces, product displays and audiovisual resources that help explain technical solutions clearly and create a professional environment for establishing valuable commercial relationships.
Our design, architecture and production team guarantees excellence in every project. Our experience in custom-built stands and our extensive work with companies from different industries support our professional approach to exhibitions such as MATELEC Madrid.
We design and manufacture custom stands using high-quality materials, professional finishes and solutions adapted to the electrical, lighting and energy-efficiency sectors. Every element is tailored to the exhibitor’s requirements and to the type of product or technology being presented at the event.
Our goal is to create solid, attractive and functional spaces that convey trust, professionalism and innovation.

We manufacture the stand, coordinate the logistics and supervise the installation at IFEMA Madrid to ensure a professional execution, ready to welcome visitors.
MATELEC Madrid is held every two years at IFEMA Madrid. It is one of Spain’s leading professional events for the electrical, lighting, electrification and smart building solutions sectors.
We recommend starting ideally 3–4 months before the show, to allow enough time for design, production, approval, transport and installation. Shorter lead times are possible for urgent projects, but the earlier you start, the more options you have for customisation.
MATELEC Madrid brings together manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of electrical equipment, lighting, automation, energy-efficiency solutions, electrical infrastructure, home automation, electric mobility and smart building solutions.
The event attracts electrical installers, engineering companies, architects, developers, maintenance managers, distributors, specifiers and professionals looking for the latest innovations in the electrical and energy sectors.
The event provides an opportunity to present new products, generate business contacts, strengthen relationships with distributors and installers, and increase brand visibility among decision-making professionals.
Stands that combine demonstration areas, spaces for business meetings and a clear presentation of products and solutions usually achieve the best results, as they help attract visitors and generate new business opportunities.
